Managers and Coaches Meeting

A reminder of our Manager’s meeting on Monday at 6pm in the Wenty Leagues Club meeting room 1.(Please inform your team managers of this meeting if they haven’t yet registered.) Also our Coaches meeting will be held in the same room at 7pm after the managers meeting. Coaches,Managers and Trainers need to go to playnrl.com.au to register

Please be advised that all trials v/s St Clair for this weekend are cancelled, please let your players know to register online at www.playnrl.com

Ground Closures

All fields remain closed for training today Thursday 2nd March and won't be inspected till Friday(even if fields are open they won't allow training on them), trials this weekend are still going ahead at this time, if any changes a text will be sent to all coaches to forward onto to you(only if they have your details)and also put on our here or our Facebook page. All coaches details are on here or our Facebook page if you require more information.

All grounds are now closed. There is a good chance grounds will stay closed till Friday but we will inform you daily. If this weekend trials are cancelled we will inform by posting here on our Website page, our Facebook page or by text if the coach has your number. Till tomorrow............stay dry ☂️

Sizing/Registration Weekend

When: This Saturday and Sunday

Registrations will now be available for season 2017, all Registrations will be compulsory to be completed online and paid online(please bring your confirmation that you have registered to the sizing weekend) before player is registered.

This year Registration Fees have increased but this will give you $50 of raffle tickets that can be sold on and money kept or you can keep the tickets for yourself for our Major raffle at end of the year in 2017.the increase in Rego Fee will go as followed, $25 will go into players Team Fundraising and $25 towards our Major Prize Draw.

1st Prize- $5000 Cruiseabout Voucher to be used on your next booking for flights, accommodation and cruise.

2nd Prize- $1000 NRL Shop Voucher

3rd Prize- $500 NRL Shop Voucher

This year we will be having all our meetings on the same day. Managers meetings will start at 6pm-7pm followed by our Coaches meeting starting at 7pm-8pm. This meetings will be only held once a month with dates for year in all your books handed out at the first meeting. We are asking all to attend these meetings as they have important information regarding rule changes and important club info throughout the year. Our next meeting is on the 6/3/2017 (for those coaches who haven't chosen managers please can you attend the managers meeting) 6-7pm Managers 7-8pm Coaches Please remember coaches all your coaching staff need to register online. Att All Senior players, Our trial against West Tigers NYC side at Kirkham Park has been cancelled.

Att All 4 to 8yr olds

Introduction to Rugby League for Ages 4 to 8yrs. Calling on all children aged between the ages of 4yrs to 8yrs who are interested in playing the Greatest game of all, at the Greatest club of all. We are hosting our Introduction to Rugby League program over the next two Mondays being the 6th and the 13th at Ringrose Park Wentworthville(cnr of Smith St and Cumberland Hwy) starting at 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Come down, bring a friend and be taught by qualified and accredited coaches.

Introduction to Rugby League for 4-8yrs

We are starting our introduction to Rugby League for ages 4 to 8yrs next Monday 6th February and then the following Monday 13th at Ringrose Park starting at 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Please come down or spread the word to anyone you know that would like to play this great game.

2017 Trials

Syd Shield training and 1st trial

Players wishing to trial for our Syd Shield side will be expected to attend training. Our 1st trial will be on Saturday 4th Feb at Ringrose Park vs Cabra(times to be confirmed), players wishing to trial for A Grade are also training with our Shield squad. Training this week will only be on Tuesday at Ringrose starting at 6pm due to Australia Day being on this Thursday. Registration/Sizing Days

Hi all, Our registration/sizing weekends are as follows Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February and Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March from 10am to 2pm on both weekends. Please remember to registration online before these days that includes all rep players playing Harold Matts and SG Ball.

Important notice....... All returning players, new players and officials need go online to register. Registration cost is $200 but every child will be given $50 in raffle tickets to sell on or to keep and $30 will go to your teams fundraising. More info on raffle prizes to follow.

Hi all Senior players we will be resuming preseason training this coming Tuesday the 10th January at Alpha Rd Park Greystanes starting 6pm sharp. Any players wishing to trial for Sydney Shield and A Grade are encouraged to attend as players attending training will be first in line for upcoming trials. Notice of Annual General Meeting 2016

You are invited to attend our AGM that will be held on the 4th December 2016 in the Wentworthville Leagues Club Auditorium. Proceeding will begin at 10am.

Att all 16s,17s and C Grade

Attention all 2017 eligible Under 16's, 17's & C-graders. Our club pre-season will commence on Tuesday 15th of November at Ringrose Park at 6pm sharp. This will continue every Tuesday & Thursday until xmas. This is a combined pre-season with the objective of to assist the development of the players strength and skills in preparation for the 2017 season. *Each player MUST bring a towel, water bottle, joggers and boots to each session. This is a fantastic opportunity for all players to develop their skills. We are looking forward to seeing you all there on Tuesday!!

All here at Wentworthville United JRLFC would like to wish Alex all the best on his new appointment as General Manager at the Catalan Dragons.Alex has taken our A Grade and Shield sides to premierships but those who know Alex know it wasn't about premierships.... it is that he loved nothing more then passing on his knowledge of the game not just to players but our coaches too. He will be missed. Good luck buddy!!
